Sunshine and summer, flowers and butterflies – what a wonderful feeling. We used gloriously warm colors to conjure up the fabulous mood of summer. This quilt is relatively simple but an arty feel abounds. Note that we often used a fabulous yellow green that goes from light to dark on the same bolt. THANKS fabric designers! We decided to add a 5” border so that it is just large enough to use as a lap quilt on those cooler summer evenings when a light quilt makes summer reading just delicious. Other colors can depict another mood just as excitingly.
